Cody Kraemer, M.D., is a vascular surgeon with great passion for his patients. He works to “develop long lasting relationships with my patients due to the disease processes that affect them.” Committed to educating his patients, Dr. Kraemer believes in working together with his patients when planning their treatment. “I want to hear their story and do my best to educate them in what they are facing,” he said. “I feel it’s important to honestly relay their situation to them as well as be sympathetic. It’s very important to work together in deciding the treatment plan.”

He was born and raised in North Dakota. Then he moved to Kansas for his education where he received his BA in biology from MidAmerica Nazarene University. After receiving his medical degree from University of Kansas School of Medicine, Dr. Kraemer found his home in Tucson during his general surgery residency and vascular surgery fellowship with the University of Arizona.

“My wife and I grew to love the desert, mountains and the people. We have developed great friendships here.”

Outside of work, Dr. Kraemer enjoys hiking, cycling, going to movies, Mexican food, and spending time with his wife and kids.
