Dr. Jolyon Schilling | Vascular Surgeon

Dr. Schilling graduated with Alpha Omega Alpha honors from the University of Washington School of Medicine in 1986, receiving the James Haviland, M.D. Award for clinical excellence. He completed his general surgical residency at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, Texas in 1991 and his vascular surgery fellowship at the University of Arizona in 1993.

 

Dr. Schilling is board certified in General Surgery, Surgical Critical Care and General Vascular Surgery. He is a senior flight surgeon with the rank of Lt. Col in the Arizona Air National Guard, 162nd Fighter Wing and chief of hospital services.

 

He is a clinical associate professor of Surgery at the University of Arizona and the Director of Surgical education at Tucson Medical Center. Dr. Schilling is the wound care Director at Cornerstone Hospital of Southeast Arizona and the Co Chairman of TMC General Surgery/Urology Service Line Agreement. Dr. Schilling is a Fellow in the American College of Surgeons. He is an Advanced Trauma Life Support Instructor. Dr. Schilling has a lifetime membership with the Association for Academic Surgery.
