Dr. Waheed earned his medical degree from Rawalpindi Medical College in Pakistan. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, Illinois, followed by a fellowship in Nephrology at The Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology by the American Board of Internal

Medicine and holds certification from the American Society of Diagnostic and Interventional Nephrology. He also serves as a Board Member for Interventional Nephrology at Southwest Kidney Institute.
