Biography
Jolyon Schilling, MD, FACS is a board-certified vascular surgeon. He earned his medical degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine; completed his general surgery residency at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, Texas; and completed fellowship training in vascular surgery at the University of Arizona. He is board certified in general surgery, surgical critical care, and general vascular surgery.
At SKI Vascular Center in Tucson, Dr. Schilling provides specialized care for patients with kidney disease.
Dr. Schilling serves as a Clinical Associate Professor of Surgery at the University of Arizona and is the Director of Surgical Education at Tucson Medical Center. He is the Wound Care Director at Cornerstone Hospital of Southeast Arizona and Co-Chair of the Tucson Medical Center General Surgery and Urology Service Line Agreement. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, an Advanced Trauma Life Support Instructor, and holds a lifetime membership with the Association for Academic Surgery.
Dr. Schilling also serves as a senior flight surgeon with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the Arizona Air National Guard, 162nd Fighter Wing, and as Chief of Hospital Services.
