Biography
Lannery Lauvao, MD, FACS is a board-certified vascular surgeon. He is board certified in general surgery and vascular surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the Society for Vascular Surgery. He specializes in open vascular surgery and endovascular surgery.
At SKI Vascular Center in Phoenix, Dr. Lauvao provides specialized care for patients with kidney disease. His clinical specialties include carotid disease; aneurysmal disease involving the thoracic and abdominal aorta and peripheral aneurysms; peripheral arterial disease and limb salvage; venous disease, including deep vein thrombosis, inferior vena cava filter placement and removal, varicose veins, and venous reflux; dialysis access and management, including fistulas, grafts, and HeRO access; vascular trauma; wound care; lymphedema; and limb preservation procedures.
Dr. Lauvao is on staff at multiple hospitals and medical centers in the Phoenix Valley, including Banner Health, Abrazo Health, and HonorHealth. He has served on several local committees, including Chair of the Endovascular Committee at Banner Thunderbird Medical Center, and has presented at local and international meetings. He was awarded Physician of Excellence from Banner Thunderbird Medical Center, was nominated as Most Compassionate Doctor by the Vitals Patient Choice Award and has been listed in Phoenix Magazine Best Doctors.
